In this episode, Tim sits down with Kylie Moore-Gilbert, an Australian-British academic who was falsely imprisoned in Iran on charges of espionage. She denied the charges, and no evidence for them was ever made public. The Australian government rejected the charges as "baseless and politically motivated".
She has since released a book, The Uncaged Sky that documents her time in prison. It's a fascinating story of resilience, defiance and survival, and this conversation will give you plenty to think about.
